How to Build an EPK for Musicians w/ Sasha Alcott of When Particles Collide

Class Description: What does a great Electronic Press Kit look and sound like? What is it essential to have one for booking, promotion and pitching? How should you tailor your EPK for different purposes? What services make it easy to create a killer EPK? We’ll answer all these questions and participants will know exactly what the need to do in order to have the right tools to engage with professionals in the music industry via their EPK.
Born and raised in Bangor, Sasha eventually began a dual life of high school chemistry teacher by day, playing in bands at night and on the weekends. In 2010 Sasha and her husband Chris Viner formed the duo When Particles Collide eventually leaving behind their day jobs to tour the US & Canada while living out of their van and exploring the world of DIY touring. The duo are currently off the road and rehabbing a one room cabin in Newport, Maine soon to house a studio space to write and record new work.
