Intro to Fine Art Photography – 10/06/20

This class is an introduction to photography as a creative artform taught by local artist, Andrew (A.R.) Clark. You will learn basic principles to elevate your photography which can be applied to any camera, even your iPhone. You will learn how to utilize composition, the exposure triangle and lighting to make stunning photographs. You will learn about the works of some of the most talented photographers of all time such as Vivian Maier, Gordon Parks, and Ren Hang. You will also have a chance to discuss your own artistic goals, and learn how to elevate your art and achieve a new perspective in photography. By the end of this two hour class, participants will have an understanding of how to look at photos critically, and how to take photos with artistic intent.
This is a two hour class meant for anyone with an interest in photography. Photography experience is not required. This class is appropriate for all ages, but is recommended for people 15 and up. No materials required.
This course is offered virtually only and held via secure Zoom password protected link. Zoom sign-in, password and other applicable info will be sent to you prior to the course start. Must be registered in advance to participate and receive all relevant info.
Cost is $36 for Members and $40 for Non-Members. Pre-Registration is required.
